The North Woods community is uniting to bring children and their families to the upcoming Praise in the Pines music festival, scheduled for Saturday, July 19, at the Northland Pines Field House.

Through the Pay It Forward for Kids initiative, organizers are encouraging donations to purchase tickets for kids and their families who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend this uplifting event. To donate any amount, go to praiseinthepines.org and click on the blue Pay It Forward button at the top right.

Now in its second year, Praise in the Pines has become a tradition in Eagle River, drawing 1,800 attendees last year. The 2025 event will feature the iconic Christian rock band Newsboys, promising a day of music, worship, and inspiration for all ages.

“We believe Praise in the Pines can have a lasting impact on young lives and their families,” said Bill Lochte, president of Praise in the Pines. “We’re excited to help kids and their loved ones experience this special day.”

The Pay It Forward for Kids campaign is dedicated to making this family-friendly celebration accessible by providing tickets to children and their families in need. “We want every child to have the chance to join us for a day of fun, faith, and connection,” Lochte added.

Those interested in contributing can visit praiseinthepines.org, where a Pay It Forward for Kids button is available on the tickets page. Clicking this button allows donors to directly support North Woods families, ensuring financial barriers don’t prevent them from joining this transformative experience.

Every donation made through the Pay It Forward for Kids button will help a child and their family attend Praise in the Pines, creating memories of spiritual renewal and togetherness. This initiative highlights Eagle River’s generosity, ensuring its youngest members and their families can share in the joy of faith and music.
