For the second consecutive year, Kyle Plummer, owner of Eagle River Ford and Eagle Auto Group, has donated $5,000 to Praise in the Pines, the annual Christian music festival set for Saturday, July 19, at the Northland Pines Fieldhouse.

This contribution underscores Plummer’s regular commitment to faith-based initiatives and “ensures the festival remains a beacon of worship, music and community connection in the North Woods,” according to event organizers.

Plummer, a local business leader, presented the donation to festival organizers earlier this month. “Praise in the Pines is a special event that uplifts our community and spreads a message of hope,” Plummer said. “I’m proud to support it again this year and help make it an unforgettable experience for everyone who attends.”

Event organizers say that his continued sponsorship reflects the values of faith and community that are central to both his personal ethos and the mission of Praise in the Pines.

Reflecting on his experience at last year’s event, Plummer shared, “Our family thoroughly enjoyed Praise in the Pines last summer. The worship music was phenomenal. Our 9-year-old daughter is still singing Hannah Kerr songs and watching her videos on YouTube. Our teenage boys are excited to attend again this year. The food trucks were a perfect addition to the evening, also.” He added that this personal connection to the festival further fueled his decision to sponsor the event again.

When asked why he chose to become a sponsor, Plummer explained, “We are honored to donate to this event. After attending last year and hearing all of the testimonials from Hannah, Austin, Big Daddy Weave and (Bob Lenz), we think it’s important for everyone to know that Jesus is there for all. He works through imperfect people. None of us is worthy of what He did for us, but He loved all of us enough to do it anyway. We all need work, but He is there to help us and love us through everything.”

The donation will play a role in bringing the 2025 festival to life, an event that aims to bring thousands together for a day of Christian music and worship.

“Kyle Plummer’s continued generosity is a game-changer for Praise in the Pines,” said Bill Lochte, festival organizer. “His support, alongside other local donors, allows us to bring world-class music and a transformative worship experience to Eagle River while keeping the event accessible to all.”

“Supporting Praise in the Pines aligns with our values at Eagle Auto Group,” Plummer noted. “It’s about giving back to the community that has given us so much and creating moments that inspire and connect people.”

Encouraging others to consider sponsoring, Plummer added, “We are so proud of the Eagle River and surrounding communities for donating the funds and volunteer hours to bring this to the Northwoods. I am certain that this will only grow as the community sees the positive impact this has on our area.”

Event organizers say that Plummer’s call to action highlights the festival’s growing significance and the collective effort that makes it possible.
